Designed by Ryder Cup captain Paul McGinley, Macreddin Golf Club sits in a wooded river valley near Aughrim, part of the BrookLodge & Macreddin Village resort. What is the best golf course in South Wicklow?

That depends on what you're looking for. For links golf, Arklow Golf Links is the only true links experience in Wicklow. How far is South Wicklow from Dublin?

Arklow is approximately 80km from Dublin via the N11 — around 70 minutes. Woodenbridge and Macreddin are a further 10–15 minutes inland from Arklow. Coollattin in Shillelagh is about 90km from Dublin, typically 80–90 minutes.
