Delgany Golf Club. Delgany.
Designed by the legendary Harry Vardon — a woodland gem tucked into the hills above Greystones, known throughout Wicklow for its warm welcome, mature tree cover and exceptional value.
Delgany Golf Club
Delgany Golf Club holds a special place in County Wicklow's golfing heritage — a woodland parkland course with a design pedigree that few clubs can match, having been laid out by the legendary Harry Vardon, six-time Open Championship winner and one of the founding fathers of modern golf course design.
The course plays to a par of 68 over approximately 5,600 yards through dense, mature woodland that provides stunning autumn colour and a sense of peaceful seclusion rarely found in north Wicklow. While shorter than many courses in the county, the tight tree-lined fairways, small greens and sloping terrain demand precision and shot-making skill rather than raw power.
Known throughout Wicklow as one of the friendliest and most welcoming golf clubs in the county, Delgany offers excellent value green fees and a warm, unhurried club atmosphere. Visitors are welcome throughout the week. The club is located close to Greystones and Bray, making it an ideal second course for a north Wicklow golf day.
