The 18-hole course, designed by Patrick J. Merrigan, weaves across three separate lake peninsulas, meaning that water is an almost constant presence throughout the round, whether lapping alongside fairways or visible across the open lake.
The par-72 championship layout stretches to 6,730 yards and offers a genuine challenge for visiting golfers. Merrigan's design makes intelligent use of the natural lakeshore terrain, with fairways that slope towards the water and approach shots that demand precision to hold elevated, firm greens. A valid handicap certificate is required for visitors.
